Baker IDI Postgraduate Scholarship in Indigenous adolescent smoking prevalence and preventive interventions

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate. The scholarship is for $35,000 per annum for 3 years plus $5000 to support travel and other research costs.

Applicants should have a first class honours degree or a masters degree in public health, biostatistics or a related discipline.

The scholarship is designed for students to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in the field of public health, prevention and Indigenous health.

The PhD will be supervised by Professor Sandra Eades and/or Dr Catherine Chamberlain, through the University of Melbourne or Monash University.

The scholarship is funded through the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Australian Prevention Partnership Centre.
