Improving access to information about illicit drugs on the AOD Knowledge Centre

Date posted: 10 July 2017

Finding information about cannabis, amphetamines and cocaine, opioids, kava and other drugs has now been made easier on the Australian Indigenous Alcohol and other Drugs Knowledge Centre.

The navigation of the illicit drugs topic section has been revamped, to enable people who are interested in reducing harms from illicit drug use for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to quickly find more information about specific drugs.

For each topic section you will find a collection of policies, publications, health promotion and practice resources, and programs relevant to that topic.

There is also a general illicit drugs section which contains material of a general nature on illicit drugs such as reviews, policies and strategies, prevalence information and general health promotion and health practice resources.

The workforce section continues to provide information on courses, job opportunities, conferences, workshops, and funding.
