Community invited to comment on the impacts of methamphetamine use in WA

Date posted: 16 January 2018

The West Australian (WA) Government's Methamphetamine Action Plan (MAP) Taskforce is undertaking public consultation, and seeking comment from anyone who might be affected by methamphetamine in WA.

Members of the community, including individuals and families directly affected, as well as health service providers, community workers and business owners, are invited to contribute their views through the MAP Taskforce website.

The feedback provided to the taskforce will assist them to provide advice to the WA Government on practical ways to reduce harm, supply, and demand for methamphetamine in WA. After the consultation period ends, the taskforce will provide advice to the WA Government on gaps in services and how programs can best meet the needs of the community. It will also provide advice on opportunities for better collaboration between government agencies, communities and businesses.

Public consultation is open until 16 March 2018.
