Global Alcohol Policy Conference (GAPC) 2017

 

Overview

The internationally based Global Alcohol Policy Conference (GAPC) 2017 has announced its theme: Mobilising for change - alcohol policy and the evidence for action.

The conference aims to:

The conference will operate over a three day period and is co-hosted by the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education (FARE), the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA), the National Alliance for Action on Alcohol (NAAA) and the Global Alcohol Policy Alliance (GAPA). Whilst the conference is not Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander specific, participants can expect related content.

Participants are encouraged to use #GAPC2017 on Twitter, to join the conversation, both before and during the conference. The World Health Organization (WHO) is a co-sponsor.
