Methamphetamine Workshop

 

Overview

This workshop, hosted by the Network of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies (NADA) is intended for people who are working with people who use crystal methamphetamine. It will increase participants knowledge and confidence, as well as provide best practice approaches to engaging with clients.

The workshop will assist frontline workers to better understand methamphetamine use and the associated using culture, as well as providing effective interventions that can enhance support strategies and outcomes within generalist alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment services. 

Workshop participants will engage in conversations and skills development tasks that will build on best practice approaches, addressing the following aims:
