Alcohol and Other Drugs, Workshop Development Consultation - Alice Springs

The Northern Territory Primary Health Network (NT PHN) has commissioned the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA) to undertake an industry assessment and consultation to determine the best pathway forward for Workforce Development in the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) sector for the NT.

Presented by Ann Roche, Allan Trifonoff and Roger Nicholas from NCETA, this day workshop is open to employees of the AOD sector. This event will act as a guided, consultative process to provide information on what is currently being undertaken in workforce development nationally in the AOD sector, determine the needs of the NT workforce and to hear the views and preferences of the NT sector directly.

The workshop will be divided into two distinct sessions to allow focus on the needs at differing levels of staffing. Please see below to determine the appropriate attendance time for select staff:

Lunch will be provided for all participants between 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

For those who cannot make the consultation, NT PHN are also conducting an online consultation and can arrange telephone interviews with NCETA. Everybody has an opportunity to have their voice heard.

To complete the online consultation, please see below.
