Aboriginal People and Strength Based Practices Within a Drug and Alcohol Setting

 

Overview

This workshop, hosted by the Network of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies (NADA) is intended for people working in the alcohol and other drug sector (AOD) who have Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

This workshop is a follow up workshop for people who have already completed the Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Workshop.

Upon completion, participants will have a greater understanding of:

The workshop will use practical strategies and skills, such as case studies, action plans and tools and resources.

The workshop is free of charge to NADA members, and some travel and accommodation subsidies are available as reimbursement grants to rural, regional or remote members.
