Responding to alcohol and drugs with Aboriginal consumers and families

 

Overview

This free workshop is tailored for health and community service workers, who are often the first to respond to alcohol and drug use. The workshop is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Ms Helen Bnads and Ms Eleanor Baptist from the Peninsula Health Alcohol and Other Drug services will speak about clinical practice knowledge specific to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, especially in regards to culture.

A light lunch will be provided, with the opportunity to network with industry professionals.
