Family Inclusive Practice

 

Overview

This training opportunity is for people working in the specialist alcohol and other drug (AOD) sector.

The workshop aims to assist workers to translate Working With Families policies into practice, and identify ways in which family inclusive practice may be enhanced within their service. The training will support workers to:

Other topics will also include Orford's Stess, strain, coping, support model, assessment and treatment planning, and the use of genograms to enhance understanding of familial relationships.

The course is suitable for clinical and support workers in the AOD specialist sector.
