Overview

This workshop provides an opportunity for participants to gain a better understanding of treatment for alcohol and other drug (AOD) use, including therapeutic interventions that encompass all aspects of a client's circumstances.

The training will include the consumer voice and their recovery experiences, as well as providing an overview of current theory in recovery and practical strategies for working from a recovery perspective.

This workshop is suitable for human service providers working with AOD using clients.
