Inaugural AOD Network Meeting

Overview

The Northern Territory (NT) Primary Health Network (PHN), in collaboration with the Association of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies NT (AADANT), are inviting people to the first alcohol and other drug (AOD) sector meeting.

These meetings will be held across the NT to provide opportunities for peer-to-peer networking, sector information updates and sharing of information between those working in the AOD sector.

The need for increased networking opportunities has been highlighted by the NT AOD sector, and it is hoped that these meetings will provide increased opportunities for communication and collaboration across the various levels and organisations working within the sector.

All staff working in the NT AOD sector are invited to attend, and opportunities for cross sector engagement are being explored.

The format of the meetings will be semi-structured with opportunities for presentations around topical issues, round-table discussions and open networking over an informal breakfast setting. Tea and coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.
