Quitskills Brief Intervention Training (Qld)

 

Overview

The Quitskills Brief Intervention Training is a component of Cancer Council South Australia's Quitskills program, a nationally recognised smoking cessation training program. Quitskills provides participants with the confidence to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to think about their smoking and support them with any changes they wish to make.

The Quitskills Brief Intervention Training is aimed at Aboriginal Health Workers and Allied Health Professionals.

There is currently only one workshop planned for Queensland, but more may become available later in 2018. Quitskills is a free course, however please note that registration is essential.
