Western Australian Council of Social Services (WACOSS)

 

Description

The Western Australian Council of Social Services (WACOSS) is a not-for-profit member based organisation and the peak body for the social service sector in Western Australia (WA).

Since 1956, WACOSS has aimed to strengthen the non-government community services sector's capacity to assist all WA people.

The organisation specialises in:

The organisation is not Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander specific, but it does provide a committed holistic model that acknowledges past injustices and builds on individual and community strengths, in order to address the disparities that exist between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, and non-Indigenous people.
