No Alcohol in Pregnancy is the Safest Choice Campaign

No Alcohol is the Safest Choice is a campaign run by the Drug and Alcohol Office (DAO) of Western Australia (WA). The campaign targets women who are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding, by educating them about alcohol use. This includes providing information, including audiovisual resources, on alcohol's effect as a teratogen and potential risks to the baby. The message conveyed by the campaign, based on the recommendations of the National Health and Medical Research Council, is that not drinking is always the safest option. This campaign is part of the WA state Alcohol think again campaign, which includes resources for Indigenous Australians.
