Apunipima Tackling Smoking and Healthy Lifestyle Program

 

Overview

This Tackling Smoking and Healthy Lifestyle (TSHL) program based in Cape York is a program of various activities, which are designed to tackle the major consequences of tobacco in the community. The program aims to raise awareness about the major impacts of tobacco on the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, through the facilitation of culturally secure community and professional information that promotes quitting tobacco and the transition to healthier lifestyles through the creation of smoke-free environments.

The TSHL team visit communities on a weekly basis. The program includes:
