Ozcare Drug and Alcohol Services

 

Overview

Ozcare Drug and Alcohol Services offer a live-in detox centre for men over 18 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and who want help to stop using drugs and alcohol.

The detox component is ideal for those with a low to moderate dependency. The program usually takes around a week to complete. Smoking is permitted in this detox program.

Specifically, the program includes a range of specific services:

Potential participants should note that there is no cost for the detox services for men over the age of 18 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, who have a low to moderate dependency on drugs or alcohol. The program is funded by Queensland Health.
