David Martin Place

 

Overview

David Martin Place is a residential detox facility in New South Wales (NSW) for young people (16-24 years) who wish to withdraw from alcohol and other drugs. It provides supervised withdrawal and a safe place to overcome addiction and address issues affecting a young person’s life. Young people may be referred through a service or refer themselves.

The program initially focuses on managing the physical symptoms of withdrawal. As treatment progresses, the focus shifts to addressing social and emotional wellbeing. An individual treatment plan is developed with each young person including:

Young people leaving the program may move to the rehabilitation program at Triple Care Farm or return to the community.

David Martin Place is a smoke-free facility. There is a small fee for admission to the program.
